Quadrennial Comprehensive Policy Review (QCPR)

The Quadrennial Comprehensive Policy Review (QCPR), a UN process to assess its development system. It is a major review process by the UN General Assembly (UNGA) every four years to evaluate the effectiveness and coherence of the UN development system (UNDS).

Purpose: To provide policy guidance for how the UN operates to support countries in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Key Outcome: A resolution adopted by the General Assembly (e.g., the 2024 QCPR resolution) that sets system-wide priorities for the next four years.
